MacBook Pro M1 Max 16-inch - Developer Review

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Apple products for various reasons.

But I picked this up for iOS builds and working outside the office.

It took about two months from order to delivery.

Contrary to my concerns, the performance has been excellent — I'm quite satisfied with it.

After about a week of use, here are my impressions:

If you're not doing video work or heavy programming like I am,

honestly, an M1 MacBook Air would be more than enough.
(For app and web development that doesn't require heavy rendering, it seems perfectly adequate.)

Also, this thing is heavier than you'd expect for carrying around.

I don't think I'll be doing many Starbucks sessions with it.
