Adaptive Performance SDK - Crash on Older Devices

Adaptive Performance was working perfectly on my phone (S20+), but it caused crashes on my friend's phone (Note 8). After trying various fixes, the only solution was to completely remove the package to avoid the crash. So I tearfully stripped out all the code I had written.
